Most BCBAs face a brutal choice: join a roll-up and lose autonomy, or go independent and drown in operations. We're building the third option β the infrastructure that lets independent practices thrive. Help us build it.
These aren't aspirational. They're the standards we hire against, give feedback against, and make hard calls against. Request our full handbook β
Every practice that joins Finni is betting their livelihood on us. Every family their BCBAs serve is betting their child's progress on the system working. When we have to choose between something easier for us and something better for them, we choose harder.
Building an MSO across 21+ states, in a regulated category, against incumbents with more capital β it's hard. The job is to take the punch and keep going. Agency over learned helplessness.
The founders still review credentialing files and sit on partner calls. So does everyone else. Bureaucracy and ego are enemies. We sit on the floor, get in the weeds, and take out the trash.
ABA operations are full of βthat's how it's done.β Some of those conventions exist for good reasons. Many haven't been questioned in a decade. We ask why β we'd rather get to the right answer slowly than the wrong one fast.
Not one or the other β both. Extraordinary outputs require extraordinary inputs. We're allergic to average. Each Finni is expected to be excellent at their craft and ruthlessly prioritize.
We give and receive candid, thoughtful feedback early and often. Not because it's comfortable β it isn't β but because the alternative is slow, expensive, and corrosive. Feedback is a gift even when it stings.
A good plan now beats a perfect plan in three weeks β most of the time. We work in healthcare, so we ship fast on what's reversible and carefully on what isn't. Knowing the difference is part of the job.
We take the mission seriously. We don't take ourselves too seriously. The work is heavy enough that without lightness, banter, and warmth between teammates, we'd burn out.
We started Finni because we believe independent BCBAs deserve infrastructure that lets them focus on clinical work instead of fighting payors and chasing credentialing. That belief is the thread running through everything we do here.
We've put together a company handbook covering how we think β about the problem, our values, and how we operate. We share it on request with anyone seriously considering Finni.
