Allyson is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in both New York and Connecticut. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton and a Masters in Science Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Allyson has been practicing ABA since 2010 across multiple states serving more than 1,000 children over her career. Allyson is a firm believer in creating a supportive environment for both clinicians and the families they serve. She is passionate about high quality compassionate care, engaging in transforming the ABA experience into a positive one, expanding access to care, and improving both clinical and operational protocols to serve families.
Applied Behavior Analysis has shown to be the only evidence based therapy to provide meaningful changes in the lives of those impacted by an autism diagnosis. Allyson is passionate about making an impact on the entire family and focusing in on areas that will improve the life of the child and their whole family on a daily basis. She is focused on utilizing a model that focuses on increasing meaningful skills while decreasing challenging behavior all while utilizing a compassionate approach that is child led. She has expertise across the spectrum in the areas of executive functioning, emotional self regulation, increasing language and communication, cognition, and socialization.
The field of ABA is littered with big box agencies that are operated by big business who only look to their bottom line when making decisions. Allyson wholly believes things need to be done differently and is refocusing her attention and expertise on the needs of the child and their family. Families can expect Allyson to be with them throughout the ABA journey listening to their needs and solving the barriers that may arise. She enjoys partnering with families, building strong relationships with the children, and helping to create a more meaningful and independent life for the child.
