Hello! I'm Hilary Cavaness, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for helping children thrive. Since 2014, I have dedicated my career to working with children aged 3 to 18, and I became a BCBA in 2019. I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton and my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University in Costa Mesa. What inspires me most in this work is witnessing the incredible progress my clients make and the positive changes in their lives. Interestingly, I initially set out to pursue a career in social work but realized that my true calling was in ABA, where I could truly make a difference. If you're looking for compassionate, effective support for your child, I'm here to help.
What sets me apart is my commitment to a personalized and holistic approach to each child's development. I blend naturalistic methods with Direct Teaching Training (DTT) to create individualized programs that reflect your family's unique values and priorities. I believe that active parent involvement is crucial for a child's success, and I strive to empower families through collaboration and support. If you're looking for a dedicated professional who tailors programs to meet your child's specific needs and emphasizes the importance of family engagement, I would love to help your child reach their fullest potential. Let’s work together to make a positive impact in your child's life!
We prioritize a personalized approach that recognizes the unique needs of every child and family. We believe in the importance of understanding your specific goals and values.
