Bio

Gabrielle started her practice with Finni in the spring of 2023. With over 15 years of experience working in this field, she has dedicated her career to empowering each individual and family she works with. She has held several positions in behavior analysis from providing direct care to children, supporting residential homes in an urban community, developing a practicum curriculum for students pursuing their BCBA, and overseeing the continued growth and development for a nationwide ABA provider across 2 states. As a recent transplant to Georgia from the midwest, Gabrielle is excited to provide compassionate care to the families she serves!

My approach to therapy

Gabrielle’s practice provides high-quality ABA therapy with a focus on using naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBI). Clinical quality and client success is prioritized by meeting each child where they are at developmentally and identifying how the child can learn new skills through play and other naturally occurring interactions. This practice is not a “one size fits all” provider and understands that all families have different goals and needs. By joining forces with the caregivers who know their child best, Gabrielle’s practice will deliver therapy that is fun, engaging, and most importantly, meaningful to the child and their family.

What to expect

When families start services, they can expect to work with a BCBA who is committed to individualized and contemporary ABA therapy, as well as transparent communication. Families will receive consistent access to caregiver training to mitigate caregiver stress and to increase caregiver confidence in supporting their child’s needs. The child receiving services will work with a therapist who follows the child’s lead and who can think outside of the box to capture your child’s interests and curiosity. Through this positive relationship building strategy, the therapist will establish rapport with your child and will teach your child new skills that are vital to their development and overall independence. Therapy sessions will also teach alternative or replacement behaviors for any context in which the family feels the child would benefit from improvement in, such as emotional coping or flexibility. Although behavior change can take time, families will receive support and dedication from this practice each step of the way!
