Nicole is a doctoral-level BCBA and a licensed psychologist with 20 years of experience in the field of ABA, working in a variety of settings. Much of Nicole’s experience is with individuals who exhibit very severe forms of interfering behavior, such as SIB, aggression, property destruction, and elopement. Nicole has published over 20 peer-reviewed research papers in journals such as the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis in Practice, Behavioral Interventions, and the International Journal of Developmental Disabilities. Nicole also has years of experience providing training and mentorship to many aspiring and newly credentialed BCBAs through her work with the University of Maryland Baltimore County, the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. One of her passions is helping to support the growth and development of new and aspiring BCBAs. She is often in the field working directly with our teams to provide clinical support and mentorship.
Inspire ABA was founded with a clear vision: bring a compassionate, dedicated team of professionals together in a supportive environment to provide the highest quality ABA services to those who need them. We are a family- and BCBA-owned company that is 100% BCBA led and BCBA driven. We accept clients of all ages, from our youngest learners to our adolescent and adult clients and everyone in between. Because we have the experience to work with older learners, our clients do not simply "age out" of our services when they begin school or hit a certain birthday. Instead, our team is able to work with our clients to adapt to their changing needs as they develop, which leads to the best possible outcomes. Our team also has specific expertise in the assessment and treatment of severe forms of interfering behavior, such as aggression, self-injurious behavior (SIB), property destruction, elopement, pica, and more. We routinely work with clients who exhibit these complex behaviors to help them learn more effective communication and coping strategies so they are able to spend more time engaged in activities they enjoy with those they care most about.
At Inspire ABA, we provide ABA services to children, adolescent, and adults diagnosed with autism and related diagnoses. Decades of research demonstrate ABA’s effectiveness in helping individuals a variety of diagnoses, most notably, ASD, reach their individual goals. The focus of ABA services is to improve an individual’s overall functioning in the places where they live, work, and play. We start by conducting a thorough functional behavioral assessment (FBA), where providers help determine an individual’s current strengths and areas for future growth, gain an understanding of the specific variables under which target behavior occurs, and then developing individualized behavior support plans (BSP) to improve these behaviors across settings, including at home, school, and in the community. Our BSPs are highly individualized for each client, taking into account their unique needs, short- and long-term goals, as well as preferences and dislikes to build an intervention plan that is motivating for them. Our clinical services are inspired by our most valuable team members: our clients! Inspire ABA offers: - Thorough assessments conducted by experts in functional behavioral assessment (FBA) to enable us to achieve positive clinical outcomes. - Clinical programs led by experts in the field of ABA - Additional, ongoing clinical supervision provided by experienced BCBAs - Continuous professional development and training for our team - A family-centered treatment approach for our clients Ongoing communication and collaboration between members of our team and your family to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for our clients At Inspire ABA, we have the training and expertise to grow and adapt to the changing needs of our clients over time, from early childhood to adolescence and beyond.
