Annabel Kaplan is the founder and clinical director of Common Ground Learning. She received her BS in psychology from Florida State University and her MS in special education from Hunter College in New York City. She became a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in 2012. Annabel is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) at Endicott College. Her research interests include quality and engagement within direct therapy sessions. Annabel has over 20 years of experience serving children with autism and other disabilities across home, clinic, community, and educational settings. She lives in Boise, ID with her husband, Nick, and two daughters.

Our mission is to provide exceptional ABA services to the learners we serve. Through our specialized expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis, we create personalized treatment programs that meet the unique needs of each individual. We aim to foster growth in communication and social behavior, empowering individuals to make and maintain meaningful relationships and to reach their full potential.
At Common Ground, we offer individualized treatment based on meaningful goals for learners and their families. Some areas of target may include: Social Skills (i.e., play, joint attention, friendship skills) Communication (i.e., requesting, naming, conversation) Adaptive Skills (i.e., toileting, dressing, hygiene, safety) Challenging Behavior (i.e., aggression, self-injury) Services Offered: Focused Treatment within the Home or Community Setting: focuses on a limited number of specific targets; services can range from 10 – 25 hours per week.
